MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator)

This is a MAME, or Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. This is an arcade machine that I built from scratch in my High School woodshop. This arcade machine has over 7000 games and has room for 2 players. It also has a headboard with a name that illuminates when it is turned on as well as speakers. This project was done from January 2017- May 2017.

Final Product

This is the front view of the final product where you can see the controls fit with joysticks, buttons, and a trackball, as well as the screen and headboard. The painting on the outside was also done by hand.

The Bones

This is the bones of the machine mid-way through building it. Here you can see just the outer pieces right after they were attached along with the TV that is the screen for the device. That shelf in the middle there is where the control box with the buttons and joysticks will rest.

The Control Box

Here you can see the control box as it was being wired. The pieces sticking out on the picture below are the bottoms of the buttons and the joysticks. On the left you can see how they are all being wired together.

Below you will see more pictures from throughout the construction process of the MAME
