Speaker from Spare Parts

This is a speaker I put together with some spare parts I had from other prototyping projects in my basement. I soldered together the Bluetooth board, 2 full-range speaker drivers, and the battery pack and mounted them all on a custom box I had laser cut for this purpose. The back of the speaker has my logo and the battery box takes 6 AA batteries and is mounted on top because that was the only battery pack I had available at the time and I needed to have access to it to put in more batteries as they died. The box was designed to house an optimal volume for these speaker drivers and because of that the sound quality is pretty solid even though the mounting doesn’t look amazing. I stained and painted all of the wood panels before glueing them together.

The Guts

Nothing too crazy here, just the two drivers, the Bluetooth board, and the battery pack.
